Eagle Earrings 

These beatiful hand-carved Sterling Silver stud earrings measure 1/2 an inch in diameter and are slightly domed, each dipicting the image of the Eagle. The Eagle is seen as a symbol of power and prestige and also has a strong connection to peace. The eagle is featured in many examples of Northwest Coast Native art including jewellery, Totems and other carvings. Garry Seaweed learned his craft from his father Alfred Seaweed both members of the   Kwakiutl (Qua-que-tull) Native band from Alert Bay on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island. Garry continues to work by his father's side in their studio in Victoria, British Columbia.
